So I'm on my 6th day of 300 calorie max. It's hard when I'm working out because I get so tired. But as long as I keep my eye on the mountain...or more like, my eye on a skinny bony anorexic girl...I'm fine.
Now back to life.... Post about Elizabeth - My god sister, my BFF, my best friend, my other half...my....you get the point.
We have been joined at the hip since the moment we had our christening ceremony. My mom has known her mom since she was 19 and my dad had known her uncle since he was in his early 20's. Weird how it all came together in the end...seeing as my parents hadn't even met yet.
Elizabeth was born in April, 4 months before me. Total opposites as she is blonde, blue eyes and fair skin. I'm brunette, hazel eyes and dark skin toned. She always calls me an "Afghan baby". But...we are exactly the same in every other way and still to this day, we can't be separated.
We went to a private school together and our first separation was when I went to a boarding school in California. I was miiiiiiiiiiserable. I used to write her letters. This was before e-mail was so accessible.
I miss all those misspelled words...they made me laugh.
I moved back to New England and we were inseparable again.
We started taking the bus to Boston together and we would roam around the city on the underground. We were 9 the first time we went alone. We planned on moving to Boston when we were old enough and becoming bartenders together.
Then we went to London together when we were about 11. We changed our plans and decided to move to London and work at a pub there. Neither happened....but we still talk about it all the time as if we are going to pick up and go one day.
I think that was the same year that we got drunk for the first time. My parents used to have huge parties at our home and no one payed too much attention to us so we would sneak wine into plastic cups and drink it.
We only got caught once. It was so stupid!! It was on a regular Friday night and we were in my room. I knew there were a few bottles of wine in the wine cellar that had already been opened. My parents, my older sister (who was visiting) and her boyfriend, were all sitting in one of family rooms near the hallway toward the kitchen.
Elle and I came up with this "bright idea" to bring an empty Chanel shopping bag into the wine cellar with us and walk out casually as if it was totally normal to be carrying around a big paper chanel bag through the house. Just before we reached the hallway that went to mine and brother's wing of the house, my sister called my name. "What's in the bag? Playing mall in the wine cellar?". As my mom started laughing, my sister came over and yanked the bag from me. Elle and I were so embarrassed....but I guess it's fine because the worst that happened was that we didn't get to drink. At least we didn't get in trouble for trying.
Then we started sneaking cigarettes from her mom and my mom when we were about 12.
She moved to Florida soon after and I followed her. I lived with her and her family for a little while and we went to a new private school together. Lots of stories about Elle and I.........I'll have ot tell more as I go along.
Currently we live about 6 minutes from each other, see each other every morning for coffee and every night for a smoke and talk about 8-10 times in between on the phone.
Not to mention that we have rules about our eating.....we starve together because it works better that way. It makes it easier when I feel like I wanna cheat and she reminds me exactly why I don't want to.
She's my everything. Boys have come and gone, friends have come and gone but she is always there and I am too. My boyfriend says that we are the same person. Sometimes we talk to each other without speaking. We laugh the same and think the same and the world hates us because of it.
They're just jealous...
Gotta go to bed......now!!....I'm getting hungry but I don't wanna eat.
xoxo
